Q: Who pays for shipping?
A: In Warranty: Customer pays for shipping to Microland. Microland pays for return shipping.
Out of Warranty: Customer pays for shipping both ways.
Q: What is covered under warranty?
A: Warranties will cover manufacturing defects in electronic components. It does not cover physical damage, accidental damage, abuse or misuse.
Q: What is required to receive free In Warranty service?
A: A copy of the bill of sale with purchase date, from an authorized dealer, is required. This can be included in the box or emailed to
info@microland.ca. Customer is still responsible for delivering the item to Microland. Return shipping is paid by Microland.
Q: What is the cost of Out of Warranty service?
A: There is a $75 CAD estimate fee required at the time of shipping/drop off. After diagnosis, an estimate for the full repair will be provided to the customer. On approval, the estimate fee will be deducted from the final cost.
Q: My unit is pretty old, can you repair it?
A: Most manufacturers only keep parts for around 7 years. If you proceed with a diagnosis, and we successfully find the problem but are unable to repair due to a lack of parts, the diagnosis fee is not refunded. You can email us at info@microland.ca first so we can check for general parts availability on your model.
